One individual PhD alumna/us will be recognized at the Engineering Graduate Symposium (EGS) with the “Arbor Networks PhD Research Impact Lecture and Award.” The award winner will give a lecture during the symposium, which will be held on November 11, 2016. The lecturer will also receive an award of $7,500, a personalized plaque, be featured on the EGS website, and have the opportunity to interact with current PhD students in a variety of ways.
"This is a wonderful award to encourage our current graduate students to be even more involved in innovations that are meaningful to society. The award provides additional continuity between the PhD thesis research and engineering innovations as their career paths evolve. I would like to congratulate Arbor Networks for sponsoring this award - a significant approach to further enhance the high impact research of U-M through our alumni's accomplishments."
